Honouring service

At Harwell, veteran care isn’t a service. It’s our foundation.

Harwell provides DVA home care for veterans and war widows across Australia: DVA-funded nursing, personal care and everyday support, delivered in your own home.

We understand the unique needs of veterans and their families, and we deliver practical, respectful care designed to help you stay safe, well, and independent at home.

Whether it’s help with daily tasks, personal care, or a short break for your carer, we’re here with steady, familiar support that honours your service.

Our team ensures every visit is part of a relationship built on dignity, trust, and real understanding of the veteran experience.

Yes. The Department of Veterans’ Affairs funds in-home care for eligible veterans and war widows and widowers through two streams — Veterans’ Home Care (VHC) for everyday support such as domestic assistance, personal care, respite and safety, and Community Nursing for clinical care at home. Harwell is a DVA provider delivering both across the regions we serve. This is separate from My Aged Care and Support at Home.
